Pins are something we wear on a jacket, collar of a shirt or blazer, on a sweater to hold a scarf in place or even to accent the scarf, on a beautiful elegant black gown to adorn the occasion. A newer fashion is to wear antique insect pins (which were in fashion especially during the Victorian Period) on the shoulder of a jacket, which I find fun! Antique Pins were made in many, many different motifs and styles, various precious metals and gemstones.
